Group Therapy.
Group members are almost always surprised by how rewarding the group experience can be. Groups can act as a support network, as regularly talking and listening to others can normalize life’s challenges and remind us that we are not alone. Group therapy sessions are led by a clinician with specialized training. Many groups are designed to target a specific problem, such as depression, anxiety, social skills deficits, health issues, or loss. Group facilitators typically teach group members proven strategies for managing specific problems. Confidentiality is an important part of the ground rules for group therapy. The group leader is responsible for creating a safe and secure environment whereby the members feel comfortable sharing at their own pace.
*Group Therapy is offered periodically based on need and level of interest.
